What a full bikini wax includes
Studios define "full bikini" in different ways, so here is ours: everything in a bikini line wax, plus the top and sides of the mound taken in to leave a neat, narrower triangle or strip. Hair on the outer labia can be removed at your request. The inner labia and backside are not included; that is a Brazilian.
It is the service we recommend to guests deciding whether a Brazilian is for them. You get a clean, defined shape and a feel for film wax in this area, and most people who start here move to a Brazilian within a few visits. Equally, plenty stay, because a shaped full bikini is exactly what they wanted.
We use ITALWAX film wax only, applied warm in small sections, and we shape symmetrically from the center outward so the result is even on both sides.

What to expect during your appointment
Private and draped
You undress from the waist down in private, or wear disposable underwear we provide. You are draped, and only the working area is uncovered.
Cleanse and protect
Pre-wax lotion to cleanse, then a thin barrier of pre-wax oil.
Shape from the center out
Film wax in small sections across the top and down the sides, shaping the remaining hair symmetrically. You may help hold skin taut.
Tweeze and calm
Strays are tweezed, after-wax oil soothes, and we go over aftercare.
Comfort level: Rated 3 to 4 out of 5. The sides near the labia are the most sensitive points; each lift lasts a second, and it eases with every visit.
How to prepare

- You have sunburn, open cuts, a rash or broken skin on the area.
- You have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last six months.
- You have used a prescription retinoid or strong acid on the area in the last week.
- You have had laser, a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning on the area within two weeks.
- You have an active infection, outbreak or irritation in the area.
Aftercare for the first 48 hours and beyond
For 24 to 48 hours: no hot baths, saunas, pools or the ocean, no workouts, no tight bottoms or thongs, no sex-related friction, and nothing fragranced on the area. Loose cotton underwear only. Mild redness and small bumps are normal and settle within hours; a cool compress helps.
From day three, exfoliate gently two to three times a week and moisturize. An ingrown serum with salicylic or glycolic acid, used a few times a week, keeps the skin clear if you are prone. Never pick.
Do not shave between visits. Rebook every four to five weeks and the hair returns finer and the appointment gets quicker.

What is the difference between a full bikini and a Brazilian?
A full bikini leaves a shaped triangle or strip and does not include the inner labia or backside. A Brazilian removes everything, front to back, with the option of a small strip or triangle.
Can I choose the shape?
Yes. Triangle or strip, as wide or as narrow as you like. We shape from the center outward so both sides match.
How exposed am I?
You are draped throughout and only the working area is uncovered. One guest at a time, private suite, door closed.
Can I be waxed on my period?
Yes, with a tampon or cup. Sensitivity is higher that week, so mid-cycle is most comfortable if you have the choice.
Can I add the back strip?
Yes, as an add-on. If you want the full front and back, a Brazilian is the better booking and is $45 during our grand opening.
What helps with the discomfort?
Ibuprofen thirty minutes before, skipping caffeine that day, breathing out as each section lifts, and booking mid-cycle.
Any first-time tips?
Grow the hair for two to three weeks, do not tense, and tell us it is your first time. We go slower and explain every step.

Full Bikini Waxing at Veloura is $45–55. A modest reshape sits at the low end; a narrow strip with dense, coarse hair sits at the top.
