What a full leg wax includes

Full leg runs from the toes to the top of the thighs, with knees, ankles and feet included. Bikini line and Brazilian are separate, and pair so naturally with full legs that we built two packages around the combination. During our grand opening, booking Full Legs with a Brazilian adds underarms at no charge.

Thighs, especially the inner thigh and the back of the knee, are more sensitive than the lower leg, so we use ITALWAX strip wax on the long stretches and film wax wherever skin is thin or tender. You turn over for the backs of the thighs, and the whole service is done in sections with the skin stretched for comfort.

Expect some patchiness the first time, because hair is in mixed growth phases. By the second or third visit the cycle is synced and the result is uniform from hip to toe.

What's included

  • Thighs, front and back, to the top of the leg
  • Knees and the backs of the knees
  • Shins and calves
  • Ankles, feet and toes
  • Bikini line or Brazilian available as a pairing

What to expect during your appointment

Cleanse and protect

Legs are cleansed and lightly oiled, and we note any varicose veins or sensitive spots to work around.

Lower legs

Shin and calf in long sections of strip wax, film wax on knees and ankles, then feet and toes.

Thighs

Front of the thighs in sections, then you turn over for the backs. Film wax on the inner thigh if it is sensitive.

Finish

Tweezing of strays and after-wax lotion over the whole leg.

Comfort level: Rated 2 to 3 out of 5. Inner thighs and the back of the knee are the tender spots; the rest is easy.

Please reschedule if

  • You have sunburn, open cuts, a rash or broken skin on the area.
  • You have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last six months.
  • You have used a prescription retinoid or strong acid on the area in the last week.
  • You have had laser, a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning on the area within two weeks.
  • You have bulging varicose veins; we wax around them, never over them.
  • You have an eczema or psoriasis flare, or take blood thinners or have diabetes without physician clearance.

Aftercare for the first 48 hours and beyond

For the first 24 to 48 hours, treat the skin like it has just been exfoliated, because it has. Skip hot showers and baths, saunas, pools and the ocean, heavy workouts, sun and tanning, and tight clothing against the area. A cool compress and an oil-free, fragrance-free moisturizer are all it needs. Mild pinkness and small bumps are normal and settle within hours.

From day three onward, exfoliate gently two to three times a week and moisturize daily. This is the single best way to prevent ingrown hairs, because dry, rough skin traps the fine new hair as it returns. If you are prone to ingrowns, an ingrown-hair serum with salicylic or glycolic acid used a few times a week makes a real difference.

Do not shave between appointments. Shaving resets the growth cycle and makes your next wax patchy. Rebook before you leave so the rhythm holds, and if redness lasts more than two days or you see swelling or discharge, see a healthcare provider.

Why waxing, and why here

Up to six weeks of smooth

Legs are the slowest-regrowing area on the body. One visit, a month and a half of not thinking about it.

Uniform hip to toe

One cycle, one finish, no line where the shaving stopped.

One guest at a time

A private suite, no waiting room, no overheard front desk. Every step explained before it happens.

Myths, retired

Hair grows back thicker after waxing. It does not. Hair type is set by the follicle. Regrowth after waxing is often finer and sparser because the hair is removed at the root and the growth cycle is reset.
Full leg hurts far more than half leg.Inner thighs are a little more sensitive. Overall the experience is similar, and it gets easier each visit.

Full legs questions

Half leg or full leg?

If thigh hair shows in shorts or swimwear, book full. If only the lower leg bothers you, half leg covers it.

Can I add bikini or Brazilian?

Yes, and we recommend it. Full Legs + Brazilian is our Summer Ready package, and during the grand opening it includes complimentary underarms.

Can I get a full leg wax while pregnant?

Generally yes. We position you on your side for comfort and avoid varicose veins. Let us know when you book.

How soon can I swim afterward?

24 to 48 hours. Chlorine, salt and sun all irritate freshly waxed skin.

How long does a full leg wax take?

About 55 minutes, a little longer on a first visit.

Why was my first full leg wax a bit patchy?

Hair is in mixed growth phases the first time. It evens out by the second or third visit when the cycle syncs.
