A good brow wax is mostly decision-making. Before any wax touches skin, we look at where your brow naturally starts, where the arch sits in relation to your iris, and where the tail should end so the eye looks lifted rather than pulled down. First-time guests are mapped with a pencil so you can see the shape before we commit to it.
We use ITALWAX film wax exclusively on the face. It is applied in a thin layer around body temperature, sets in seconds and lifts in one flexible piece, taking the fine vellus hair that threading and tweezing leave behind. Because it grips hair rather than skin, the thin skin around the eye is left calm.

What to expect during your appointment
Consultation and mapping
We talk through arch height, thickness and how much you want removed. If we are reshaping, we mark the head, arch and tail with a brow pencil so you can approve the plan.
Cleanse and prep
Makeup is removed and the skin is cleansed with a pre-wax lotion, then protected with a sheer pre-wax oil or a light dusting of powder.
Film wax in small sections
A thin layer of ITALWAX is applied under the brow, above it and between the brows, set for a few seconds and lifted while the skin is held taut.
Trim, tweeze, refine
Long hairs are trimmed with brow scissors and single strays are tweezed for symmetry. This is where the shape is really made.
Soothe
After-wax lotion removes any residue and calms the skin. Pinkness fades within the hour.
Comfort level: Most guests rate brows a 2 out of 5: a quick sting, sharpest at the inner brow, gone in a second. The anticipation is usually worse than the wax.
How to prepare

Please reschedule if
- You have sunburn, open cuts, a rash or broken skin on the area.
- You have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last six months.
- You have used a prescription retinoid or strong acid on the area in the last week.
- You have had laser, a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning on the area within two weeks.
- You have an active breakout or cold sore near the brow.
Aftercare for the first 48 hours and beyond
For 24 hours, keep the area bare: no makeup, serums, acids or fragranced products. A bland moisturizer is fine. Light pinkness for thirty to ninety minutes is normal. A cool compress helps if you want it.
For 48 hours, avoid sun, heat, saunas and sweaty workouts. From the day after, wear a mineral SPF daily. Freshly waxed facial skin pigments easily, especially in olive and deeper skin tones, and sunscreen is what prevents it.
Resume gentle exfoliation after 72 hours and keep it up twice a week between visits. Facial hair ingrows easily on the chin and jaw, and exfoliation is the fix. Do not pluck between appointments; it leaves nothing for the wax to grip next time.

Will I end up with a shape I did not ask for?
No. Every visit starts with a consultation, and first-time guests are mapped before we wax. We remove conservatively, because brows grow back slowly and you can always take more off next time.
Can I get my brows waxed while growing them out?
Yes. We clean up strays above, below and between while leaving the growth zone untouched so the shape improves visit by visit.
How often should I wax my eyebrows?
Every three to four weeks. Avoid tweezing between visits so we can keep refining the shape.
Will waxing thin my brows permanently?
Properly spaced waxing does not. Over-waxing and repeatedly tweezing the same follicles for years can reduce regrowth, which is exactly why we shape conservatively.
Does eyebrow waxing hurt?
A brief pinch, usually rated 2 out of 5. The inner brow is the sharpest point and it lasts a second.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
Wait 24 hours before applying brow makeup, foundation or serums on the area. Freshly waxed skin is open and products can cause bumps.
I use retinol. Can I still be waxed?
Pause it for five to seven days before your appointment. If you cannot, tell us and we will tweeze instead or recommend threading for that visit.
Can my teen get their brows waxed?
Yes, from 16 with a parent or guardian present.
