Body waxing

Shoulder to fingertip, in one session

Full arm covers everything from the shoulder cap down: upper arm, elbow, forearm, hands and fingers. Underarms are a separate service and pair naturally with this one. Upper-arm hair changes direction several times between shoulder and elbow, so we map it and work in sections rather than long strokes.

We use ITALWAX strip wax on the long stretches for speed and film wax on the elbows and hands, where skin is thin. Applied thinly with the growth and removed against it, in sections, with the skin held taut.

If upper-arm hair is visible in sleeveless clothing, full arm is the right booking. If only the forearm bothers you, half arm covers it at a lower range.

Upper arm first

Strip wax in sections that follow the changing growth direction from shoulder to elbow.

Forearm, elbow, hands

Long sections of strip wax down the forearm, film wax on the elbow and hands.

Please reschedule if

  • You have sunburn, open cuts, a rash or broken skin on the area.
  • You have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last six months.
  • You have used a prescription retinoid or strong acid on the area in the last week.
  • You have had laser, a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning on the area within two weeks.
  • You have an eczema flare, or take blood thinners without physician clearance.
  • You have a tattoo on the arm under eight weeks old.

Aftercare for the first 48 hours and beyond

For the first 24 to 48 hours, treat the skin like it has just been exfoliated, because it has. Skip hot showers and baths, saunas, pools and the ocean, heavy workouts, sun and tanning, and tight clothing against the area. A cool compress and an oil-free, fragrance-free moisturizer are all it needs. Mild pinkness and small bumps are normal and settle within hours.

From day three onward, exfoliate gently two to three times a week and moisturize daily. This is the single best way to prevent ingrown hairs, because dry, rough skin traps the fine new hair as it returns. If you are prone to ingrowns, an ingrown-hair serum with salicylic or glycolic acid used a few times a week makes a real difference.

Do not shave between appointments. Shaving resets the growth cycle and makes your next wax patchy. Rebook before you leave so the rhythm holds, and if redness lasts more than two days or you see swelling or discharge, see a healthcare provider.

Why waxing, and why here

Uniform from every angle

One session, one growth cycle, no line where the shaving stopped.

Four to six weeks

Arm hair is slow-growing. Full arm is one of the longest-lasting waxes we do.

One guest at a time

A private suite, no waiting room, no overheard front desk. Every step explained before it happens.

Myths, retired

Hair grows back thicker after waxing. It does not. Hair type is set by the follicle. Regrowth after waxing is often finer and sparser because the hair is removed at the root and the growth cycle is reset.
Full arm hurts much more than half arm.The inner upper arm is a little more sensitive. Overall, full arm is still one of the most comfortable waxes.

Full arms questions

Half arm or full arm?

If upper-arm hair shows in sleeveless clothing, book full. If only the forearm bothers you, half arm covers it.

Are shoulders included?

The shoulder cap, yes. Full shoulders and back are a separate service; ask when you book.

How long does a full arm wax last?

Four to six weeks, and the regrowth is fine and tapered.

Can I add underarms?

Yes. Underarms with full arms is one of our most common pairings.

Will waxing help the dark, dry patches on my elbows?

That is usually dryness and pigment rather than hair. Exfoliation and moisturizing help, and waxing mildly exfoliates.

Do you wax men’s arms?

Yes, at the same listed range. Coarser hair may sit toward the top of it.
